Rose Quartz is a beautiful member of the Quartz mineral family. Some types of Rose Quartz have needle-like spikes inside them, which are referred to as rutile needles. Due to the mineral's often "cloudy" appearance (due to the rutile needles) Rose Quartz is often made into beads, obelisks, and figurines.
